A few days ago, we had a very friendly discussion with the journalist of our local newspaper PATRIS, Costas Geldis.

At the Vanilla café  in Krestena, where the idea for Vanilla Radio started, there was a relaxed conversation about who we are and what we have achieved so far.

It is a great honor for people in the area to approach you and give you the opportunity to talk about your work and we thank them very much for that!

Οι πρόστυχοι στίχοι του αποκριάτικου hit “Que te la pongo”

Κάθε Απόκριες τι χορεύουμε; Τα ίδια και τα ίδια είναι η απάντηση. Σωστή, αλλά ας το κάνουμε πιο συγκεκριμένο και ας μιλήσουμε για το “Que te la pongo” των μεξικανών Gaibaldi.

Προφανώς και δεν γνωρίζεις τι σημαίνει. Καλά, δεν σου λέμε ψέματα, ούτε και εμείς μιας και δεν έχουμε καταγωγή ή θείο από την Γκουανταλαχάρα. Αλλά μάθαμε και τα παιδικά μας χρόνια δεν είναι τα ίδια…

Η μετάφραση του ρεφρέν είναι απλή και μεταφράζεται:

«Σου το βάζω, σου το βάζω και δεν το νοιώθεις καν».

Όχι. Αυτό σημαίνει. Ναι, όταν χόρευες ανέμελο παιδάκι που να ήξερες πως χόρευες την ερωτική ιστορία μιας κοπέλας που έψαχνε αντίδοτο στην μοναξιά της.

Και πριν τρέξουμε να κατακρίνουμε τους Garibaldi (άλλη επιτυχία δεν παίζει να έκαναν ) μην ξεχνάμε και το «Όταν νυχτώνει το εργαλείο»…

The obscene lyrics of the carnival hit “Que te la pongo”

What do we dance every Carnival? Many latin hits is the answer. Right, but let’s make it more specific and talk about the “Que te la pongo” of the Mexican Gaibaldi.

Obviously you don’t know what that means. Well, we’re not lying to you either, since we’re not from Guadalajara. But now seems  that our childhood was not innocent as we believed…

The translation of the refrain is simple and translates to:

“I put it on you, I put it on you and you don’t even feel it.”

Yes, when you danced carefree as a child you knew you were dancing the love story of a girl who was looking for an antidote to her loneliness.

Nick Alexiou & Thanos Kalentinis Feat Lusty Apricot – Spiritual Love (DEEP SUNSET MIX)

One year after the success of ‘around my dreams’, DJ and producer Nick Alexiou returns with Thanos Kalentinis and Violist Lusty Apricot with a new melodic track entitled Spiritual Love.

Όταν ο δικός μας  George North αναλαμβάνει το remix τότε σίγουρα το κομμάτι γίνεται “Hit” !

Καλοκαρινό feeling,μελωδία και chords που σου μένουν,groovy ρυθμός με afro percussion όπως μας έχει συνηθίσει στις παραγωγές αλλά και στα remix του συνθέτουν το official remix του  George North στέλνοντας το κομμάτι στα official charts του Traxsource.

Χαρακτηριστικά να πούμε ότι το ίδιο το traxsource το συμπεριέλαβε στη κατηγορία με τα “Afro Essentilas” και στα τοπ 100 afro έφτασε μέχρι και στη θέση νούμερο 73 και παρέμεινε για αρκετό καιρό στα τοπ 100

Characteristically, the traxsource itself included it in the category with “Afro Essentilas” and in the top 100 afro it even reached number 73 and remained for a long time in the top 100
